From a 4 year old boy to a 57 year old woman
I’ve just written the first draft of the first 5 to 10 minutes and last 2 minutes of the show tonight. Still a lot of writing & rewriting to do but I’m confident I can get it done in the next month. leaving 2 months to tweak and learn it.
I’ve entered the show in the festival & need to proof the entries tomorrow.
50 Years Before The Frock is my story starting with the first time I questioned my gender identity at age four until the first time I appeared in public as Julia, stepping onto a stage and doing stand-up comedy at age 57.
Yeah, I know that’s 53 years, but 50 years before the frock sounds so much better than 53 years before the frock.
