Welcome to 50 Years Before The Frock, a one woman memoir telling the true story of the 53 years between Julia first questioning her gender identity and first stepping out in public as herself. The show is sometimes funny and sometimes tragic without sacrificing truth,
50 Years premiered at the 2018 Auckland Fringe Festival. and was reprised in November 2018 and February 2019 as a free show thanks to Auckland Council’s “Proud Centres” program. The next performance will be in August-September 2020 as part of Virtual Fringe. Future shows are being considered.
